PLAIN ENGLISH SUMMARY This policy sets out what you can and cannot do while using LYTICK. LYTICK is for personal analysis and trading education. Not for bots, scrapers, or commercial resale. Deriv market data displayed in LYTICK belongs to Deriv. You may not extract, store, or redistribute it. Violations can result in account suspension or permanent termination. If you see abuse, report it to support@lytick.com.

1. Purpose of This Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') describes the rules that govern how you may use the LYTICK platform, including all features, data, tools, and content available at lytick.com or through the LYTICK progressive web application.

This policy exists to protect the integrity of the platform, the rights of other users, LYTICK's obligations to Deriv under its API developer terms, and the technical infrastructure that makes LYTICK available to everyone. This AUP forms part of LYTICK's Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference. By using LYTICK, you agree to this policy in full.

2. Permitted Use

LYTICK is provided for the following permitted purposes:

  • Personal chart analysis of Deriv Synthetic Indices, forex, and other Deriv instruments.
  • Educational study of market structure, technical analysis methods, and trading strategy development.
  • Personal use of the chart replay feature for reviewing historical market sessions.
  • Personal use of drawing tools, indicators, and chart configuration features for your own analysis.

Sharing screenshots of your own analysis generated using LYTICK's screenshot export feature for personal and community discussion purposes, provided the LYTICK watermark is not removed or obscured.

Submitting feature suggestions and participating in the LYTICK community feedback system according to the Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited Use

The following uses of LYTICK are strictly prohibited. This list is not exhaustive LYTICK Technologies Limited reserves the right to determine, at its reasonable discretion, whether any use not listed below is consistent with the spirit and purpose of this policy.

3.1 Prohibited Activities Relating to Market Data

IMPORTANT DERIV API DATA TERMS

Market data displayed in LYTICK is retrieved live from Deriv's WebSocket API under Deriv's developer terms. Deriv prohibits the storage and redistribution of their feed data. LYTICK's architecture complies with this by fetching data live per session. Users must not circumvent this architecture to extract, store, or redistribute Deriv data.

Automated scraping, extraction, or systematic collection of any market data, price history, tick data, or chart data displayed within LYTICK, whether by automated script, bot, browser extension, or any other means.

Storage of Deriv market data retrieved through LYTICK in any server-side database, data store, or persistent storage system for purposes other than the personal browser session cache provided by LYTICK's IndexedDB implementation.

Redistribution, resale, licensing, or publication of any Deriv market data retrieved via LYTICK in any format, commercial or non-commercial, without explicit written authorisation from Deriv.

Use of LYTICK as a data feed or data source for any third-party application, system, algorithm, or trading bot.

3.2 Prohibited Activities Relating to Platform Integrity

Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code of any part of LYTICK, except where expressly permitted by law.

Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with any security, authentication, access control, or rate-limiting mechanism of LYTICK or Deriv's API.

Using LYTICK in any way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on LYTICK's infrastructure or Deriv's API, including by sending an excessive number of automated WebSocket requests.

Introducing malware, viruses, trojans, or any malicious code into the LYTICK environment.

Using LYTICK to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of LYTICK's systems or any connected infrastructure without prior written authorisation.

3.3 Prohibited Commercial Activities

Reselling, sublicensing, or providing access to LYTICK Pro features to third parties, including creating shared accounts for use by multiple individuals.

Building or operating a competing product, service, or tool that is substantially derived from LYTICK's design, architecture, feature set, or user interface, whether or not you are a paying subscriber.

Using LYTICK to collect competitor intelligence at scale or to systematically benchmark LYTICK's feature set for commercial purposes.

Purchasing a Pro subscription on behalf of a group, organisation, or team without a valid enterprise licence from LYTICK Technologies Limited.

3.4 Prohibited Content and Conduct

Uploading CSV or other data files to LYTICK that contain material you do not have the right to use, including proprietary market data licensed to you solely for personal use.

Using LYTICK's community features, where available, to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other users.

Posting or sharing content through LYTICK that is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or that impersonates any person or organisation.

Using LYTICK in any jurisdiction where its use is prohibited by law, including jurisdictions where Deriv is not permitted to operate.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the LYTICK platform including but not limited to its source code, design system, user interface architecture, branding, visual language, feature set, written content, and the 'Obsidian Glass' design language is the exclusive property of LYTICK Technologies Limited, protected under Nigerian intellectual property law and applicable international frameworks.

Deriv market data displayed through LYTICK is the property of Deriv and its data providers. LYTICK facilitates access to this data under Deriv's API developer terms but does not own it and cannot grant rights to it.

The LYTICK name, wordmark, amber L lettermark, tagline 'Tune your edge.', and all associated brand assets are the exclusive property of LYTICK Technologies Limited. They may not be reproduced, adapted, or used in any commercial or promotional context without prior written consent.

Screenshots exported from LYTICK using the screenshot export feature include a LYTICK watermark. You may share such screenshots for personal, community, and educational purposes. Removing or obscuring the watermark is prohibited.

5. LYTICK's Relationship With Deriv

LYTICK is an independent third-party application built on Deriv's public API under Deriv's published developer terms. LYTICK is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or operated by Deriv or its parent company Binary Group. The Deriv name, logo, and brand assets are the property of their respective owners.

LYTICK maintains a commercial referral partnership with Deriv. Users who authenticate their Deriv account via LYTICK's OAuth integration may be tagged as LYTICK-referred clients in Deriv's system. This does not affect your trading costs, account fees, or terms with Deriv in any way. Full disclosure is made in LYTICK's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

LYTICK's API access is subject to Deriv's developer terms and may be modified, restricted, or terminated by Deriv at any time. LYTICK Technologies Limited is not responsible for any interruption to LYTICK's functionality resulting from changes to or termination of Deriv's API access.

6. Age Requirement

LYTICK is intended for users aged 18 years and older. Trading financial instruments is restricted to adults in the vast majority of jurisdictions. By using LYTICK, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If LYTICK Technologies Limited becomes aware that a user is under 18, that user's access will be terminated immediately and any associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Enforcement and Consequences of Violation

LYTICK Technologies Limited reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this policy. Where a violation is confirmed or reasonably suspected, LYTICK may, at its discretion and without advance notice:

  • Suspend or permanently terminate the user's access to LYTICK, including any Pro subscription without refund.
  • Delete content or data associated with the violating account.
  • Report the violation to Deriv, relevant regulatory authorities, or law enforcement where the violation involves unlawful conduct.
  • Pursue civil or criminal remedies available under Nigerian law and applicable international frameworks.
  • LYTICK Technologies Limited is not obligated to provide prior warning before enforcement action in cases involving clear or serious violations of this policy.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of LYTICK that violates this policy including suspected data scraping, platform abuse, or unauthorised commercial use please report it to:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. LYTICK Technologies Limited will not disclose the identity of any person who submits a report in good faith.

9. Updates to This Policy

LYTICK Technologies Limited may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time to reflect changes to the platform, applicable laws, or Deriv's API terms. Updates will be posted at lytick.com/acceptable-use with a revised effective date. Continued use of LYTICK after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
